The very versatile KHAKI

Every female on the planet should own at least one pair of khaki pants. With today’s economy, women are spending much less on quality clothing than they used to. This means that it is essential to have clothes in your wardrobe that can be mixed and matched to make a variety of different and fresh looks. Khaki pants are a perfect way to achieve that goal.

Khaki pants come in a range of shades from almost a cream to a medium greenish brown. Choosing a shade in a neutral range that is more tan than green will allow you to use the same khaki pants for women to create a variety of different looks and styles. You will be able to team these pants up with a colorful sweater, a white shirt and a fun colorful belt, or a simple tee shirt or tank top for casual occasions. These pants will look as good when lunching with your friends as they will for that hiking trip or biking around the park.

Best of all depending on the style of khaki pants, it is easy to dress these pants up or down to match just about any occasion. Pairing those khakis with a dress shirt and blazer can help you create a nice neat look for the office. After work you can lose the blazer, add a pair of high heels a colorful shirt and a cute belt and you are all set to have a casual dinner. For those fun weekend activities simply team up those khakis with a fun and funky shirt and you are ready to go. These pants are almost as versatile as basic black and a lot more fun.
You can find khaki pants for women in super snazzy styles from high waist pants, to capri’s and cargo pants as well as casual dress. These pants often come in plus and petite sizes as well making it possible for almost any woman to increase the size of her wardrobe simply by mixing and matching these versatile pants

Pretty Neat, Summer Heat

Its only April but it sure does feel like June in Bombay! Global warming seems to be having a party that we’d rather not be invited to.

Summer is that one time where each and everyone takes the word ‘dress-down’ pretty seriously. Especially when you’re subject to weather like this.

We wanted to go stripy hot on this one, and we did too in our own snazzy way. Have a look.

So for all you fashionistas who don’t want to go down the floral route, stripes are a good bet. They’re casual yet when paired with something appropriate can turn the look around completely.

This season dresses, and skirts will remain must haves but the designers have also given us all kinds of fun fashions. Fashions that will offer wonderful vivid prints, stripes, and geometric prints - not to mention some great new takes on animal prints (COMING SOON). The main theme this spring is somewhat tailored, and classic, but with a touch of bold, and edgy.

Tell us how you liked this post, Comments and emails are always welcome.

- I'm gonna soak up the sun, gonna tell everyone to lighten up!
